In order to provide a stellar experience for players and staff we would like staff members interested in joining our Operations Team to commit to all three days of the MagicFest. This will ensure that all members of the Operations Team are familiar with the processes they will need to make the weekend a success. For MagicFest+ Brussels and Phoenix, three and four day acceptances are available with the default being 4 day acceptances.
If we can’t bring you on for a specific MagicFest through this application, we encourage you to apply through the event specific application – we’d still love to see you there!
Operations Team members work on all fo the non-judging facets of a MagicFest event - Registration, Prize Wall, Prize Tix, Check-In and Back of the House. Members of the Operations CORE Team will have the experience and flexibility to help out in any of these roles as the ebb and flow of the MagicFest dictate.
As part of our Operations CORE Team you may be asked to:
-
Join the Registration Team (e.g. Greet players as they enter the venue, Take registration for side events or the main event)
- Join the Prize Tix team (e.g. Providing prizes to players as events go into round 3, Handing out fanatic packages that are purchased on site, Managing the lost and found)
-
