Event Information
A Rising Star games will be putting forth a Legacy Competitive Level event. The goals of this event are threefold: to educate and mentor judges who may have limited experience at Competitive Rules Enforcement Level, give players a chance to play one of the best formats (legacy), and to grow the player-base of A Rising Star games.
The head judge will be Liberator L. We are looking to staff one floor judge and one standby
One standby judge for this event will be activated when 40 players have registered for the event.
Call time for all judges will be 9:45am, with registration for players beginning at 10am.
The uniform is a black magic judge shirt or black dress shirt if you do not have a judge shirt, black dress pants, belt, and black shoes.
Lunch will be provided to all judges and dinner will be provided for judges who volunteer to stay until the top 8.
Judge compensation for the event is based on attendance but will be a minimum of $50.
We are expecting between 30 and 100 players. This means we are expecting 5 rounds with a cut to top 8.
As this is allowing for experience with working competitive events, filling out a cover letter will be beneficial for you to get used to the application process.
