Event Information

Hello friends!

For those of you who haven't been to a mock tournament before, here's the basic structure: Experienced judges act as players, and less experienced judges act as judges. The players generate problems and difficult calls, that the judges then have to resolve at competitive REL.

This mock tournament will be a bit of a departure from previous events. Instead of 4-pack sealed, we will be playing constructed. If you have a deck you're comfortable letting others use, we'll have a large table to put extra decks. Keep in mind that the store will be closed on the day of the event, so the only people in the store will be attendees of the conference. At the beginning of each round, you and your opponent should pick a format, and find some decks from the table. We will be providing the players prompts to test the floor judges.

We will also be foregoing the usual presentations at the beginning of the day, so that we can focus on hitting the ground running with the mock tournament.
