Europe East Judge Conference

Hello everyone,

It’s this time of year again! You are all invited at our third annual conference that will take place in Katerini, Greece from Friday 25th of July till Sunday the 27th. The weekend will include swimming, drafting, cubing, chatting, and of course seminars!

Did we mention that there will be some sweet judge foils up for grabbing?

What is paid for: your hotel room for Friday and Saturday night including breakfast. If you want to extend your visit the hotel rate is approximately 25€/person/night.

What is not paid for: 

• your travel expenses
• food, drinks

L1/L2 certification: yes we will have those, but please contact Giorgos (george.trichopoulos@gmail.com) beforehand.

Things to notice: If you miss the application window or if you are a L0 at that date there will be no judge foils for you - L4 orders! In any case you will still have the room paid. There is no need for a cover letter, please go and press those three clicks and apply now. Let me stress that one more time, please apply as soon as possible, because we need to book the hotel, it is high season!

How to get there:

• Most of us will travel by car. I assume that you will be using a GPS software - we are tech freaks after all ;) - so you will be fine
• Train from Thessaloniki: 4-9€ one way, 51'. The train station is called “Katerini” 
• Bus from Thessaloniki: 6.3€ one way, 45'
• Airplane: The nearest airport is Thessaloniki SKG, where Ryan and Wizz air are flying. Keep in mind that you need at least 2 hours to reach the hotel from the moment you land. Other fly options are Volos VOL, or even Athens ATH they both have Ryan air. Again you need at least 3 (8 for Athens) hours of public transportation to reach the hotel. In short if you want to go by plane SKG is the suggested airport.
