Statesboro Mini-con

Join us for a Judge Academy foil sponsored conference with space provided by Galactic Comics and Games in Statesboro,Georgia.

Judge conferences are a great way for judges of all levels of experience to come together, meet new and old friends, and share their collective experience and knowledge. If you want to learn, teach, or likely do a bit of both in a fun environment surrounded by judges just like yourself, this is the place to be!

This is an open conference for judges of all levels and locations. However, the focus of the presentations at this event will be towards L1s who are interested in comp REL. 

Please note that there is likely to be recording of presenters as well as photos being taken of attendees .

Start time:

Start time is planned to be 12:00 with presenters needing to arrive at least 30-45 minutes early to ensure we have everything set up for presentations to be successful.

There will not be a lunch break planned so please eat before arriving. Closer to the event date I will send an email detailing restaurants in the area for judge dinner for those interested.

Presentations 

We are currently looking for 4 presenters who are willing to present on topics to help L1s interested in judging comp REL. I won't be giving you specific topics but I will request you send me your presentations a week ahead of time so I can go over them and ensure that they are on topic. Presentations should be at least 45 minutes.

If you are interested in presenting please mention it in your application along with what topic you want to present on.

Feedback forms will be avalible at the conference and must be filled out by each attendee in order to receive your foil support at the end of the conference
