Event Information
Face to Face Games is proud to announce our next stop of our new and improved Series: F2F Tour Quebec City to be held at Hotel PUR in Quebec City, QC. This awesome event features over $3,800 in main event prizes, as well as on-demand drafts, constructed and commander pods. We also have schedule Free Standard and Free Pioneer tournaments. The cap for this event is 150 players and the main event format will be Modern.
The Head Judge for this event is Robert Hinrichsen.
CALL TIME
Judges will be expected to be on site and ready to work by 8:30 AM. You will not be required to assist setting up the hall but expect some light tasks in the morning like setting the table numbers, placing pairing boards, etc. You are also required to stay until at least the end of the Swiss rounds and assistance with cleaning and breakdown is expected. Based on previous events, you can expect the Swiss rounds to end around 8:00 PM but please note that the actual finish time might be different.
ALL JUDGES WELCOME
We're looking for judges of all levels. Judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused. As this is Modern event, being familiar with the format and all the interactions involved is highly recommended.
COMPENSATION
- Floor Judges will receive a compensation of $16 per hour. Hours worked beyond 8 hours will be increased by 50%
- Appeals Judges and Scorekeepers will receive a compensation of $18 per hour. Hours worked beyond 8 hours will be increased by 50%
- We are also looking for standby judges. If you wish to apply as a Standby Judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge. Activation numbers are 120 and 140 players.
