Mid-Michigan Judge Evening Conference

Hello everyone! I would like to invite you out to the Mid-Michigan evening conference!

This conference is intended to bring together local judges for continuing education in a casual environment. The format for this event is below:

Presenters

This event will be soliciting TWO presenters. Please fill out the question in the application if you are interested. Every certified judge will be considered. Please have an idea for what you would bring to the conference.

Schedule

Arrival 5:45 - 6:00 PM

This event is at a venue that has multiple food options, so please feel free to arrive before it starts to get something to eat.

Group discussion/Rules Module 6:00 - 6:45 PM

This is a group-led discussion that we will use to go over various recent policy changes, rules scenarios, and general philosophy towards how we apply those changes/rulings.

Presentation 1/Presentation 2 6:45 - 7:25 and 7:35 - 8:15 PM

We will split the group in half and run two sessions each of each presentation. You will attend both presentations, with the groups exhangingnpresenters at the break.

Community Involvement 8:15 - 8:45 PM

We will close the session with another group-led discussion around what you can do in your local area, positive interactions with other judges, and a path forward to apply what you've learned.

Feedback form 8:45 - 9:00 PM

Attending

This conference is on an unusual day of the week for conferences, but may be short enough for weekday travel. Each attendee will be receiving ONE foil packet as outlined on the Judge Academy website. Presenters will be receiving an additional packet for their efforts.

Attendees will be required to fill out a feedback form at the end of the conference to receive their packet.
