The typical shift will cover all rounds of Swiss. This shift will last 8-10 hours, with a full-round break and a half-round break given at the head judge's discretion.

Standby judges should come to the event ready to play with a deck of the appropriate format, but should also bring their judge uniform in case attendance exceeds our expectations. We will try to notify standby judges in advance if activating them is anticipated, but all activation decisions will be based on the tournament organizer's discretion at the event. Please specify in your application if you would be willing to accept a standby role.
We anticipate activating our standby judges at 175 and 200 players but be aware that this number may change at the TO/HJ discretion.
Team Lead:
Team leads main goals and tasks will involve delegation and completion of their team's tasks and will assist the head judge in preparation for the event. Team leads will also be resources for floor judges on more complex calls. Please express your desire to be a team lead by answering the questions on application. Questions about team lead's resonsibilities may be sent to head judge Liberator L. - landon.liberator@gmail.com
