North Texas Digital Mini-Conference

Welcome to the event page for the North Texas mini-conference! This conference will primarily be aimed at helping L1 judges improve their knowledge and skills, however anyone is welcome to attend and join in the discussions.

We are currently working with Judge Academy to have foil support, but as of right now that has not been confirmed. If we do get foil support, per Judge Academy rules only USA-South region judges who are Academy-certified by the cut-off date will be eligible to recieve a foil packet mailed to them after the conference. With that being said, any judge is welcome to attend the conference!

Registration: If you wish to sign up for this conference, please apply here through Judge Apps before the cut-off date of July 18, 2020. 

Schedule: The current working schedule is as follows (Central Time):

12:00 pm - Beginning of conference, keynote, introduction/logistics

12:15 - Presentation 1

12:45 - Presentation 2

1:15 - Presentation 3

1:45 - Presentation 4

2:15 - End of conference

Presenting: If you wish to present a topic at the conference, please  let us know in your application when you apply for the conference! The deadline for presenters is July 17, 2020.

The conference will be held over Discord and the invite link is https://discord.gg/aDpyVg. A microphone and camera will make interacting with the presenters easier, but are not required for this event.
