Event Information
Welcome to the Cycle 5 Finals for the ANZMTG Super Series!
Once more unto the breach, dear friends – as always we are looking to put on a great event and we require a crack team of judges to do so. Due to the complex nature of staffing these events there are both full and half shifts available. If you are willing to work a Half Shift, please select this on your application. While the event will include side events in other formats and at Regular REL, the main event will be run at Competitive REL and so you are expected to have some knowledge of the MIPG.
If you are selected for a Full Shift you will be working the majority of the day, from the Call Time until dismissal from your Head Judge/Team Lead and will be compensated $250 AUD for each shift worked over the weekend. If you are selected in a Leadership Role (HJ/SK) you will receive an additional $50 AUD for each shift worked over the weekend.
If you are selected for a Half Shift you will be working 9AM - 2PM each day, and will be compensated $150 AUD for each shift worked over the weekend. Judges who work half shifts may also be asked to extend to a full shift and will be compensated at full shift rate should this occur.
If you are selected as Standby you will receive 1x Free Entry into the event of your choice (Excluding Main Event) for the days you are standby. You will be expected to be at or close by (15min or less) the event venue from 9am - Midday each day to allow for activation
Additionally we are also looking for people to assist in setting up and packing up:
- Thursday 5pm – 8pm
- Sunday 6pm – 9pm
People who work these shifts will receive 150 prize tokens per shift worked. You may apply even if you are not working the event.
All judges will additionally receive a playmat of their choice for working the weekend. Unfortunately we are unable to offer additional compensation to traveling judges for this event.
If you have any questions regarding this event please email glenn@goodgames.com.au (Tournament Organiser) or tom.wood.judge@gmail.com (Judge Manager)
