Judges & friends,


On behalf of the organizers of Prague Eternal Jan Zuskač and Tomáš Klimeš of Najáda store, i am opening applications for judges for Prague Eternal.

In case you don`t yet know what Prague Eternal is, it will be a summer weekend with a vintage tournament, legacy tournament, and a GP trial. Jan Zuskač is a great propagator of Eternal formats, and intends to start long series of such tournaments.

We will need 3 judges for friday, and 5 or 6 judges for saturday and sunday.

You can apply for any combination of days, and add special requests, i will then do the tetris somehow. [fri/sat/sun/sat+sun/sat+sunday only together, and so on]

You can apply for several key positions>
Friday Eternal Trial Head Judge [head judges will be selected first, and consulted regarding teams]
Sunday GPT Head Judge [head judges will be selected first, and consulted regarding teams]
Sunday Vintage Head judge [same story]
Saturday Legacy deckcheck teamlead
Saturday super-scorekeeper

Judges will recieve CZK 110 / hour. Vintage, Legacy, and GPT trial head judges will recieve CZK140/hour. See below expected tournament times. [finally you get rewarded for giving slow-play penalties :)]

You can apply as a spare judge. We would like to have one backup on saturday, and one on sunday. Number of players needed for the spare to be activated are set quite high - around 90 players for vintage, and 150 for legacy. Spare judges play for free if not judging, as usual.

Bonus non-essential information:

Expected tournament sizes and team size
Friday Eternal trial - around 50 players - 3 judges.
Saturday Legacy - 110 players - 4 judges helping them + scorekeeper.
Highlander is tricky - 30 to 60 souls. Regular - 1 dedicated judge.
Sunday vintage - around 50-60. 3 judges.
Sunday GP Trial - between 50 - 80. 3 judges. 


Approx. tournament times for judges (includes prep and reg):
Friday Eternal trial: 15-23
Saturday Legacy: 08-23
Saturday Highlander: 10-22
Sunday Vintage: 08-19
Sunday GP Trial: 10-21

Not all judges will be required to stay for the last 2 rounds top8 of Legacy, Vintage, and the GP Trial.
