Event Information
CheckMate Games & Hobbies is proud to host Toledo's own Magic Pro Tour Qualifier! To host an excellent event, we require an excellent staff of Judges.
We will be holding the event at the American Legion Post just a little ways up the road from our store. There will be a plethora of restaurants in the area and the Post itself will be selling concessions as well. We are anticipating between 150 and 250 players, but will be equipped to handle upto 300.
Judges will be expected to be on-site at 8:00 am the day of the event and can expect to stay until at least 6:00 pm, with a small group staying until around 10:00 pm for the top 8 and wrap-up. Some Judges will assist in running side events.
Compensation will consist of a sealed booster box of Magic the Gathering (Journey into Nyx, M15, or Conspiracy based on availability) per Judge and food stipend and beverages will be provided.
