Destination Qualifier at Ropecon

Turnaukseen haetaan tuomareita. Tuomareilta toivotaan hyvää sääntötuntemusta, aiempaa kokemusta Competitive-tason turnauksista sekä tiimityöskentelystä. Virallinen tuomaritaso on myös toivottava mutta ei pakollinen. Tuomarien tulee olla paikalla noin tunti ennen turnauksen alkua ja työvuoro kestää vähintään turnauksen Swiss-kierrosten loppuun asti. Turnauksen aikana pyritään antamaan vähintään yksi tunnin mittainen ruokatauko sekä lyhyempiä lepotaukoja. 

Tuomarit palkitaan työsuorituksesta yhdellä booster displaylla uusinta Standard-laillista settiä. Tämän voi halutessaan vaihtaa saman hintaluokan settiin Poromagian valikoimasta. 

Lisäksi tuomarit saavat seuraavat edut: 

• Viikonloppulippu Ropeconiin
• Yksi ruokalippu turnauksen aikana
• Mahdollisuus käyttää Ropeconin ilmaista majoitusta https://ropecon.fi/kavijoille/majoitus/

Tuomarihaku on auki toukokuun loppuun asti ja valinnat ilmoitetaan mahdollisimman pian kesäkuun alussa. 

Ropecon is the largest non-commercial, volunteer-run gaming convention in Europe. The convention programme includes all kinds of gaming from TCGs to live action roleplaying, as well as seminars on a variety of geeky topics.

We are looking for judges for this event. We expect judges to have good rules knowledge, previous experience with Competitive events and with working in teams. Certified judges are preferred but certification is not required. Judges need to be available from an hour before the event's start time until at least the end of the Swiss rounds. Judges will receive at least a one hour lunch break plus shorter breaks as needed. 

Judges will receive one booster display of the latest Standard legal set. This can be exchanged for any similarly priced set that the Poromagia store has in stock. 

Judges will also receive: 

• A weekend pass to Ropecon
• A lunch voucher during the event
• Access to communal accommodation (bring your own sleeping bag and mat, includes access to showers, see https://ropecon.fi/en/for-visitors/accommodation/) 

Applications are accepted until the end of May and selected judges will be contacted in early June.
