Honolulu Judge Conference

I am pleased to announce the first ever Hawaii Judge Conference, hosted by Durdle Zone.  The conference will take place on Monday, October 13th. This is a closed conference, meaning that only residents of Hawaii can apply. If you strongly feel that you should be allowed to attend, please present your reasoning in your cover letter.

Judge Conferences are an occasion to learn and teach, to share your tips and spread knowledge. They are one of the best opportunities to get good practices and share what works for you. During this conference, short seminars or workshops focused on one aspect of the judge program will be presented by volunteers.

As a thank you from the program, any certifed judge from Hawaii (Level 1 or higher) who applies for the event before September 15th and attends all sessions will recieve judge foils for attending. Any late registrants or judges who certify after the 4 week cut off are not eligible for foils.

The Format, Length, and Topics are still being determined. Specifics will be posted to the event forum as they are decided.

L1 and L2 certification will be available at this event.

If interested in testing for L1, please contact Stephan Classen (drakk2@yahoo.com) with the names of judges you have worked with, as well as a brief description of the steps you have taken to prep for L1.

If interested in testing for L2, please contact Riki Hayashi (Rikipedia@gmail.com) with the names of L2+ judges you have worked with, as well as the ID number and score of your most recent passing L2 practice exam.
