F2FTour Weekend Toronto feat. Magic Spotlight: Lorwyn Eclipsed

Face to Face Games is ecstatic to host Canada’s first ever Magic Spotlight! This is a 3 day celebration of Magic that offers all types of different convention style Magic events, ands the main event will be Lorwyn Eclipsed Limited! Note that there will be a conference attached to the Thursday Setup shift! See the setup option below for more details.

Please select any number of roles you are interested in applying for. Note that applying both for a Lead Role and a Floor Judge role will not influence your chances of being selected for a Lead Role.

Please include a cover letter with, at the minimum, your experience, goals for the event, preferred positions, and any accommodations you may need. If you have a travel stipend request outside of the provided options, please include the amount and reason in your cover letter.

All roles will be tasked with light tear down duties on Sunday. 

Compensation is as follows:

Floor Judge ($300 CAD/day) - Answering questions players may have and providing an excellent customer service experience

Prize Wall ($300 CAD/day) - Provide customer service at the Prize Wall and assist customers with exchanging Prize Tix for product. This role requires some light tear setup and tear down duties.

Registration ($300 CAD/day) -  Assist players with the registration process.

Thursday Setup ($300 CAD/day) - Assist with setting up the hall on Thursday. There will be a conference for setup staff on Thursday, February 5th in the evening after setup. Setup staff will be paid for a full day ($300) to do half a day of setup and then attend the conference. There will be a seperate application for conference presenters once details are finalized.

Sunday Strike ($360 CAD on Sunday) - Assist with tearing down the hall on Sunday. You are more likely to get accepted for three days if you apply for Sunday Strike.

Lead Roles:

Main Event Support Judge ($450 CAD/day) - Be a support judge for an event of 1200+participants. This role pays $450 just for Saturday & Sunday, and you will be paid the lead role rate of $360 if you work on Friday. You should have experience with Head Judging or Appeals Judging events of 500+ players.

Judge Team Lead ($360 CAD/day) - Be the point of contact between your team of 2-5 Floor Judges and the Head Judges, and ensure your team is carrying out their assigned tasks.

Sunday Rebound Large Event Head Judge ($450 CAD/day) - Be a Head Judge for an event of 500-1000 players. This role pays $450 just for Sunday, and you will be paid the lead role rate of $360/day on Friday and Saturday. You should have experience with Head Judging or Appeals Judging events of 500+ players.

Side Events Lead ($450 CAD/day) - Assign judges to events and ensure all events are running smoothly. Create Side Event Floor Judge assignments and establish communication with judges prior to the event.

Prize Wall Lead ($360 CAD/day) - Manage Prize Wall staff and inventory, and oversee the Prize Wall Operations. 

On-Demand Events Lead ($360/day) - Oversee the On-Demand Event team and operations.

Stage Lead ($360 CAD/day) - Manage the registration and event operation staff and processes.

Scorekeeper ($360 CAD/day) - Manage tournament software and event logistics.
