BSK 2025

What is BSK

BSK is Borås Spelkonvent which is an annual convention in the town of Borås roughly one hour east of Gothenburg. Happening in All Saints weekend. We're crowning the Swedish Legacy Master during this weekend. The weekend is also not limited to: RCQ's, other eternal events and more seldom seen formats, such as 93/94 (also known as Oldschool), Premodern and much more. What's new this weekend is Knalleland Cup in premodern (More info in the link below, in Swedish)

Judges

We're looking for judges for the following shifts. Saturday is the most busy day with the Legacy SM. We're expecting around 150 players.

Friday: 1 Head Judge and 1 Floor Judge

Saturday: 1 Head Judge, 1 Score Keeper, 4 Floor Judges (one of them covers RCQ's and one floor judge slot is for early/late shift)

Sunday: 1 Floor Judge to cover the entire day

Compensation

FJ: 900 SEK store credit at mindstage for each shift.

SK: 1100 SEK store credit at mindstage for each shift 

HJ: 1300 SEK store credit at mindstage for each shift.

Expectations

Dress code for the event is judge shirt or jersey and either black pants or skirt. A belt is preffered but not necessary. If you don't own a judge shirt, a black shirt works perfectly fine.

Head judge and score keeper will work the entire day (2 shifts) if selected

All judges are expected to have read up on the IPG, MTR and updated with the most recent policy and changes, if any done in the recent time.

Make sure to rest well, eat and drink water, the days can be long and your health and well being is very important

Judge tests or become a judge

Please DM Anton Huang so we can set up for testing. There will be a proctor when a candidate is taking the test. If you're interested to become a judge, feel free to DM Anton Huang and we talk more about it
