Event Information
Come join us in Brisbane, where we will need an excellent team of Judges for our first Spotlight event!
All Judges are expected to have a working knowledge of the MIPG, MTR, and JAR.
All Judges must be certified by a Judge Association listed in JudgeApps, or have adequate Large Event experience.
All staff must be prepared to sign a contract with Let's Play Games. If you would like an example copy of the contract, please email tom.wood.judge@gmail.com
Compensation per day:
Floor Judge: $30 AUD/hr (Approx $300 for a 10 hour shift)
Lead Judge: $40 AUD/hr (Approx $400 for a 10 hour shift)
Travel Stipend:
Outside Brisbane (Requiring accomodation/flights): $200 AUD
Outside Australia: $500 AUD
If you are selected as Standby you will receive 1x Free Entry into the event of your choice (Excluding Main Event) for the days you are standby. You will be expected to be at or close by (15min or less) the event venue from 9am - Midday each day to allow for activation. Please do not apply at Standby unless you are okay with that outcome.
Additionally we are also looking for people to assist in setting up and packing up:
- Thursday 9am - 2pm (Subject to change)
- Sunday 6pm – 9pm
- People who work these shifts will receive $30/hour AUD. You may apply even if you are not working the event.
EXAMPLE COMPENSATION:
I am a Judge from Malaysia. I work 10 hours per day as a floor judge for all 3 days. I help with set up and pack up for 8 hours total.
I will receive:
$30x 30 Hours = $900 AUD (Floor Judge)
$500 Travel Stipend
$30x 8 Hours = $240 AUD (Setup / Packup)
Total = $1640 AUD
Conference & Dinner
There will be a conference at the venue location after setup, ~2PM
There will be a Staff Dinner on the Thursday night hosted by Let's Play Games
