Design Your Own Escape Road Puzzle

Unleash your creativity and puzzle-design skills in this hands-on workshop: Design Your Own Escape Road Puzzle! Inspired by the dynamic logic and challenge of the Escape Road game, this event invites participants to conceptualize, prototype, and test original puzzle scenarios using both physical and digital tools.

Whether you’re a game designer, maker, coder, or curious thinker, this workshop gives you the space to explore game mechanics, decision paths, branching scenarios, and interactive storytelling. You’ll work individually or in small teams to build playable puzzle systems that challenge others to think, adapt, and explore.

Participants will:

• Learn the design principles behind Escape Road–style puzzles and branching logic

• Brainstorm and sketch original puzzle ideas

• Build prototypes using tools such as paper mockups, 3D printing, microcontrollers, laser cutting, or creative coding

• Playtest and iterate on your designs with fellow participants

By combining creative game design with maker-focused fabrication and prototyping, this event gives you practical experience turning an idea into an engaging puzzle challenge.
