SCG CON Milwaukee Judge Conference

Hello, friends!

I am happy to announce that a Star Wars: Unlimited and Magic: The Gathering dual conference will be held on Friday, February 20th attached to SCG CON Milwuakee at the Baird Center from 4 PM - 8:30 PM. 

Come and socialize, build your judging network, and most importantly, learn.  Here are some cool things that will be offered to varying groups of attendees:

• Food (Outside of the Event Hall/Space)
• Attendee Gifts
• Presenter Gifts
• Tester Gifts
• Potential Travel Sponsorships

The conference will be hands-on with multiple opportunities to apply your rules and policy knowledge from two different TCGs; participants will have the opportunity to rotate between three different stations throughout the evening.  Here is a general/tentative itinerary for the conference: 

• 4:00 - 4:30 - Welcome, Thanks Yous, and Introductions
• 4:30 - 7:30 - Stations
  • Station #1 (Curated by Dan Milavitz)
    • Deck Check Workshop
  • Station #2
    • MTG Related
  • Station #3
    • SWU Related
• 7:30 - 8:30 - Food, Social Networking, and Testing

A successful and vibrant judge conference would be impossible without the following groups of individuals; I am specifically looking for 1 Presenter for MTG-related content, 1 Presenter for SWU-related content, and up to 3 Testers to help individauls with level advancement (2 for MTG and 1 for SWU; dependent on demand and need).  Our technology situation may be touch-and-go in the hall, so for my presenters, I would plan a more tactile workshop.  If this is not possible for you or are passionate about presenting something, let me know; we will figure it out together.  The questions below are to help me identify individauls to fill specific roles for the conference.  Most imporatntly, none of this work would be possible without attendees, so if you are interested and excited, please apply!  I am so excited to see you there!
