Forest City Community Cup

Feb 21, 2026 will be the sixth Forest City Community Cup held at Top Cut Comics in Rockford, Illinois - an event raising money for a local charity: Marshmallow's Hope

We've raised over $12,000 for local children's assistance and literacy programs, and this year we're supporting a charity that focuses on building support for youth who have dealt with ideation of self-harm. We value their ability to make sure every child they serve knows that the world is a better place with them in it.

All entry fees and any money collected for raffles go directly to the charity. All prizes are donated from within our community. We typically have around 50 players at these events, and prizes are drafted from the prize wall based on the final standings after the last round of swiss pairings (no Top-8 cuts).

Lunch and sealed Magic product will be provided for a qualified participating head judge.
