Event Information
The 2026 season of Apex Gaming events is ready to kick off!
Apex Gaming events are Ohio's premiere competitive MTG tournaments, and are a great way for judges to get experience with multi-judge events and Competitive Rules Enforcement Level.
Expectations:
Head Judges will give final rulings, keep the main event on track, and mentor the other judges on staff.
Floor Judges will launch side events, perform deckchecks, watch coverage, and perform other floor judge tasks as directed.
All judges should be familiar with all official MTG documents.
Compensation:
Head Judge: $300 per day
Floor Judge: $250 per day
Standby: Standby judges will either play for free or be staffed as floor judges, depending on attendance.
Hours:
Shifts are expected to be approximately 9 hours, but will be somewhat variable to the needs of the event.
Call time every day is 10:15 am. Floor Judges are expected to be released when the main event moves to Top8 or Top4.

All judges will receive free snacks, lunch, and drinks while working.
