New Jersey/Tri-State Area Judge Conference Spring 2026

This is a small conference to be held on the second floor of The Bearded Dragon Games in Bernardsville, NJ on Sunday April 26th, 10am-4pm. 

Our space maxes out at 30 people. I don't expect to hit that maximum, but if that should happen, applications from presenters and testers will be prioritized first, then Judge Foundry members, then non-members.

Presentations will feature information about judging Magic formats that are just off the beaten path, as well as other trading card games. Though I have a couple presenters lined up already, I will need more. If you have a niche Magic format or non-Magic TCG you want to evangelize via judge conference presentation, please send me (Dennis Bradford) a message.

Food! I'll be ordering sandwiches for everyone. There will be a vegetarian option, but please let me know if you have any food allergies/gluten intolerance.

Attendees will each recieve a "judge travel kit" with Judge Foundry pens/notepad, token/substitute cards, and small assorted personal hygiene items.

Presenters will recieve two Secrets of Strixhaven collector boosters. L3+ judges who administer an exam will recieve an additional two collector boosters.

If you have been looking to take an advancement exam:
- If it's the L1 exam, I'll work with you so that you can take it after the conference, but you have to contact me about it at least one week beforehand.

-For higher-level exams, I will do what I can to get someone who can administer it, but you've got to give me significant lead time (at least three weeks) in that case.


Applications for the conference will close the day before.
