NM2026

We are looking for judges for NM2026, which is looking to be the biggest event happening in Norway this year happening the weekend of the 7th of August through the 9th.

The event is a multiday event featuring a main event and multiple side events including The Hobbit prereleases.

Friday: 

Floor Judge: ---- 15:00 -> 22:00

Scorekeeper: ---- 15:00 -> 22:00

Standby: ---- Same as Floor judge when activated

Saturday:

Floor Judge: ---- 08:15 -> 21:00

Scorekeeper: ---- 08:00 -> 21:00

Team Lead: ---- 08:00 -> 22:00

Standby: ---- Same as Floor judge when activated

Sunday: 

Floor Judge: ---- 08:15 -> 21:00

Scorekeeper: ---- 08:00 -> 21:00

Team Lead: ---- 08:00 -> 21:00

Compensation

Friday:
Floor Judge (800 NOK)
Standby Judge (Free entry to one event during the day, same as floor judge if activated)

Saturday:

Team Lead for side events (1750 NOK)
Scorekeeper (1600 NOK)
Floor Judge (1500 NOK)
Standby Judge (Free entry to one event during the day, same as floor judge if activated)

Sunday:

Team Lead for side events (1750 NOK)
Scorekeeper (1600 NOK)
Floor Judge (1500 NOK)
Standby Judge (Free entry to one event during the day, same as floor judge if activated)

Expectation:

We expect all judges to come prepared and well rested to our events.

Floor judges are expected to be knowledgeable on the MTR and IPG.

Scorekeepers are expected to work from opening until closing and know how to operate Melee and Eventlink.

Team lead for side events will be responsible for their respective area.

All shifts include an hour break, as well as a short break. Team lead´s are responsible for scheduling breaks with their team.

We expect to communicate and plan the event with our judges in good time before the event

Transparency:
We are aware that this is the prerelease weekend of the Hobbit set. But due to venue restrictions the event has to happen this weekend.
We hope to still be able to staff the entire event which is looking to be bigger than last year!

The schedule is at this moment still a work in progress, but we do know that there will be a chaos draft on friday, a main event in draft + modern on saturday and a grand challenge in standard on sunday.
