PTQ- Khans of Tarkir

Double Midnight Comics will be hosting a Modern PTQ for Pro Tour Khans of Tarkir on Sunday August 24th 2014

L2 Ben Klein will be our Head Judge.

We are looking for 6 additional floor judges and 3 Stand-by Judges for this event. L2 judges are preferred, but L1 judges will be accepted depending on need and ability.

Compensation for staffed judges will be one box of the current set (M15, Conspiracy or Thers Block) or a Cash Option of $80 . Lunch or a lunch stipend will also be provided. 

Stand-by Judges will recieve free entry to the event should they not be needed.

 Travel Sponsorship is available for L2s, and based on distance traveled

 Registration will be from 8am-9:45am, and the event will begin at 10am. Judges are expected to stay until the conclusion of the Swiss rounds. Please note in your application:

1) What time you would need to leave the venue by. 

2) Your prefered Comp.

3) Travel Distance (If you are applying for Travel Comp)

4) If your acceptance is dependent upon any other factors please list that here...

The dress code for judges at this events is a tucked-in black shirt (preferably a Magic Judge uniform shirt), black pants, black belt, and comfortable black shoes. Judges should not be in uniform while off-duty, including during breaks and while trading.

 Staffing decisions will be announced no later than 1 week after the application deadline.
