Event Information
Greetings! My name is Chris Adajar, and I'm the tournament organizer from Fire & Dice. I am looking to staff two large-scale RCQs from August 15-16. Each RCQ is awarding four invites instead of the usual two, and the prize pool for each is listed at $5,000! The format for these events (and the ensuing day-of 1-slot RCQs) are Modern, and the qualifying season is Season 5 - Round 2.
Here are the Melee links for further clarification: Saturday $5k RCQ & Sunday $5k RCQ. Each event is capped at 226, as well, which is the max for an 8-round event that cuts to top8.
There are currently 5 people pre-registered for either event, but it is our hope that this number will start to climb throughout July as the event date nears. The cap for each event is 226, which lines up with the MTR maximum for an 8-round event that cuts to Top 8. I am looking for the following event staff for EACH day:
- 1 Head Judge ($350 per day)
- 1 Scorekeeper ($250 per day)
- 8 Floor Judges ($200 per day)
There is potential to expand on this staff, as I would also like to have people available for other RCQs we are offering throughout the day, but I'll start with this and be open to discussion on how that all works! Additionally, we are offering a standby option for if the demands of the event do not quite meet capacity. This is my first time using Judge Apps, so if there is anything in particular I am missing, please let me know!
Edit: A few things have been updated since I first uploaded this posting, including corrections to basic info! Foremost, with the advice of Joey Valente, judge comp has been adjusted to at least match market value. Second, as a point of clarification, the available roles have also been added as an additional question that you may select multiple options from.
