Grand Prix Pittsburgh 2013

I'm happy to announce that Professional Event Services is soliciting staff for Grand Prix Pittsburgh 2013! Grand Prix Pittsburgh will be held March 23 – March 24, 2013 with Last Chance Grand Prix Trials and Public Events opening on Friday, March 22, 2013. The format is Gatecrash Sealed deck, so you’ll have to bring your guild spirit to help manage the crowds trying to take over the City of Guilds in the Steel City. The Head Judge will be announced later.

Staff Needs:

We are looking for judges for Friday – Sunday. We will need judges for events starting at noon on Friday and 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. We expect Sunday to end around 10:00 PM.

Compensation:

Local (L1) and Area (L2) judges will receive 36 packs of current Magic the Gathering product for each full day volunteered.

Regional (L3), International (L4), and Professional (L5) judges will receive 54 packs of current Magic the Gathering product for each day volunteered.

All certified judges volunteering for at least two days will receive a selection of promotional foil cards from our friends in the Magic Judge program.

Each judge will receive a $20 meal stipend per day volunteered.

Professional Event Services will offer hotel lodging on an as-needed basis.  Room Sponsorship includes 2 nights stay for Level 1 or 2 judges; Regional judges may request a third night's sponsorship if needed. Judges may request additional nights at their own expense.  Please be clear about what accommodations you'll require when sending in your application. Note that you have a greater chance of being selected if you don’t require accommodations.

The application period begins now and will end on 1/21/2013. This is a firm deadline and late applications will not be considered.
