CardMageddon

On behalf of CardAgain and Clockwork Tournaments, thank you for your interest in judging at the CardMageddon

event being held in Las Vegas NV, December 13-14, 2014.

This will be a multi-format event, where day one is composed of multiple four round qualifying tournaments that

feed people into the main event on day two. Scheduled side events will be held on day two, and on-demand

events will be held both days.

Expectations:

Large events are a lot of fun, but they are also a lot of work. You will be expected to arrive on time, and be ready

to work when your shift begins. All judges should show up in the standard judge uniform or equivalent suitable attire

(black pants, long sleeve collared black shirt, and black comfortable shoes).  The judge staff will be called upon to

help the tournament run well by providing excellent customer service to all spectators and participants, responding

to judge calls, giving rulings, picking up decklists, pushing in chairs, preparing product, etc., as well as taking

registration and helping with room setup.  

Please indicate in your application if you will be available for one or both days.  If you have to leave by a particular

time on Sunday, please note that in your application. We will try to accommodate these requests where possible,

but comp may be reduced for judges that have to leave early.

Benefits:

Level 1 judges will be paid $100 per day worked.

Level 2 judges will be paid $200 per day worked.

Level 3 judges will be paid $400 per day worked.

Each member of the judge staff (including standby judges) will also receive a special Judge playmat with art by Christopher Rush.

We are offering hotel sponsorship to L3+ judges traveling from outside the area for this event. L3+s accepted for

the event will be sent the information for their hotel accommodations.

Standby:

Judges may apply to be a standby judge as well. Judges selected to be standby will receive free entry into a

qualifiying tournament or side event on Saturday, but may be required to judge if attendance reaches a certain

threshold. If activated, standby judges will receive the same compensation as other judges of the same level.
