Event Information
Hello judges,
Return to Ravnica Prereleases are incoming, and Outpost Brussels need a whole crew of judges for them, as they scheduled a total of six events!
Prereleases are more than a regular tournament, they are celebration of a new set, and carry a lot of excitement. They feature gimmicks (in this case, the whole Guild package, including a special booster and a promo card playable during the tournament) and a lot of new or really casual players, so judges are expected to help in order to be sure that everything is as fun as possible and to run extra activities if possible, like guild contests for example.
As those are Regular events focused on the discovery of the new set, Judges are welcome to play too - if they think they can handle the logistic behind playing and judging at the same time. If you opt to play and judge, you still have to pay the entry fees.
Reviewing the documents (MTR, JAR) and the upcoming set FAQ beforehand will be expected.
The Outpost team plan for 40-60 players for each of those events, so two judges will be staffed every time. The spare judge system will be in use: with less than 33 players, one judge will not be staffed and will play for free as a compensation.

If you know someone not certified yet but interested about judging, he can judge one of those events under your supervision. Please mention it in your application.
Compensation chart:
| <33 players - 1 judge – 14 Boosters + Free Entry fee for the second judge |

| According to the Judge(s) wish, the Outpost will buy any amount of boosters from the Judge Compensation on the tournament day at the display discounted price (2.80 Eur/Booster). |
| Judges get a discount of 50% on all food and drinks during the tournament day. |
| When judging Prereleases, judges could also opt instead for vouchers for boosters of the new set, redeemable on the next Friday. |
Please indicate which tournament(s) you want to judge. Be aware that most of them will go for about 5-6 hours, so schedule accordingly.
