PTQ Dallas - Modern Format

Hello judges!

On behalf of Mark Hay and Comic Asylum, this is the staff solicitation for the Modern Pro Tour Qualifier on February 23rd at Dallas Games Marathon.

Location:

930 West Parker Road – Suite 530

Plano, TX 75075.

Registration at 830-925AM Start Time at 930AM (Staff is expect to arrive on time at 845AM to assist with setup. Giving you guys an extra 15 minutes here, so please take into account time to park, bathroom breaks, etc!)

HOW TO APPLY

If you wish to apply to judge this event, please apply on judgeapps at http://apps.magicjudges.org/events/247/. The application window closes on Sunday, February 3rd. The sooner you apply, the higher your chances of acceptance! In your application, please include the following information (these questions do not need to be answered in the cover letter, apps lets us ask them separately!):

• Telephone number.
• Are you available all day including Top 8? If you need to leave early, when? (This will affect whether or not you are selected.)
• How many competitive REL (SCG IQs, PTQs, GPTs) events have you worked in the past twelve months?
• Any special requirements or information we should have.
• Are you willing to be a standby judge? (Standby judge will be used if need arises. If not, they will be given free entry into the event.)

COMPENSATION

The judges, including myself, will receive compensation based on the number of players present. The following is the minimum compensation to be provided:

Level 2: 36 packs (one box)

Level 1: 24 packs

Additionally, lunch for judges is paid for.
