GPT Atlantic City (Danbury, CT)

Event Info

The Gamers Gambit in Danbury, CT is hosting a Sealed GPT for GP Atlantic City.

$25 entry fee, registration opens at 11 AM, event starts at noon.

Each player will receive 3 Khans of Tarkir and 3 Fate Reforged booster packs to build a Sealed deck. The top 8 players after swiss rounds will play a top 8 draft (assuming there are enough participants for a cut to top 8).

The top 8 players will receive the following prizes:

1st place: 1 Fate Reforged Booster Box, plus 2 byes at GP Atlantic City

2nd place: 18 Fate Reforged Boosters

3rd - 4th place: 9 Fate Reforged Boosters each

5th - 8th place: 2 Fate Reforged Boosters each

Judges should arrive no later than 11:30 AM.

Dress code for judges is black pants, a black Magic Judge shirt (or button-down black dress shirt if needed), a belt, and comfortable shoes (both preferably black). Judges should not be in uniform while off-duty, (including during breaks and while trading) so bring an undershirt, hoodie, or jacket.

Compensation for Level 1 judges will be 1 box of Fate Reforged or $90 in store credit. Level 2 judges will be compensated an additional $20 for travel expenses. Level 3+ judges should contact Daniel Stockton directly for compensation discussion. All judges will receive lunch and soft drinks.

Standby Judges will receive free entry to the event if the number of players does not require their assistance, however, standby judges should arrive dressed and ready to work.

Applications will be accepted until February 7th. Accepted applicants will be notified no later than February 14th.
