Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier - Croydon

Introduction

Hey guys, and thanks for your interest in the Croydon PPTQ. It's a Modern event, which means it's going to be sweet, and it qualifies for the RPTQ in April. On behalf of Forbidden Planet Croydon, I'm happy to open applications for two (2) floor judge positions. Applicants must be certified judges with some Competitive REL experience - please detail this in your cover letter.

Compensation

The compensation for judges at this event will be one booster display (36 packs) of a recent Magic set from Forbidden Planet. 

Call Times

Judges are expected to be on-site from 9:30am and stay until the end of the Swiss rounds. One of the judges may be requested to stay for the top 8. There will also be a Grand Prix Trial side-event, to which a judge will see to its conclusion. If you need to arrive late, or leave early, please note this in your application, but know that it may hamper your chances of selection.

Judge Testing

There are testing opportunities both for Level 1 and Level 2 available at this event - by prior arrangement only. If you would like to test for either level, please contact Jack (scryus@gmail.com) well in advance to arrange something.

Applications for this event will close at noon on February 8th (two weeks before the event), shortly after which a staff will be selected.
