GPT: Las Vegas

We are looking for a few good judges to help run a Grand Prix Trial: Las Vegas.

We are a little unsure as to how many players may show as this is our first one.

I'm expecting we can hit 8-16, but may hit as high as 40 and can support up to 60 players.

Outside of myself, Ashlund, I'm looking for one volenteer and up to 1 standby judge.

A standby judge is a judge who WILL be at the event, and if we end up with lots a players, we

can call upon to help judge the event. If we hit 30 players the first standby judge will be tapped to

judge, at 40 the 2nd, and at 50 the 3rd.

If you are currently Leve 1 or higher it is possible to apply for Head Judge. If you wish to

please include this in your cover letter.

All judges who work the event will get $30 gift certifacates, and any standby judge

who play in the event only have a $15 entry fee, instead of a $30 entry fee.

If the event goes bigger then expected we will look at increasing the compensation.

Judges from out of town I can arrange for places to stay.

We will additionally be running a Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier the same day, you may also apply for that.

I will post the staff on March 21st. If you do not get accepted please understand there is limited space

and we hope you will apply to other upcoming events.
