Dave & Adam's PPTQ at UBCON

Salutations from Dave & Adam's Card World!

After setting the US Record for largest PPTQ in Season 1 (98 players!), we certainly have our work cut out for us to top ourselves, but we might have figured it out.

We are pleased to announce that our next PPTQ will be held April 18th, attached to UBCON, an annual gaming and anime convention held at SUNY Buffalo's North Campus.

The event is $10 entry, or is FREE with a UBCON Badge, and since UBCON draws in over 2,000 attendees, it's entirely possible that this event will spike attendance into the low 400's (we do have contingency plans for that attendance, don't worry!).

As such we are looking for a very sizeable number of judges to be on stand-by and activate in teams of 3 judges per 100 players. If you are interested in being a Team Lead, please say so, and why you feel you would be a good choice, in your application. Please keep in mind there will be entire teams on stand-by, so it is possible to be selected as a Team Lead but not activate.

Expectations:

The PPTQ will be run at Competitive REL, so all judges should be familiar with the IPG, in addition to game rules.

Judge call time will be 10 am when registration begins, the event itself will start at noon and all judges on staff will be expected to stay for the duration of the event (there will be breaks though, don't worry!).

Please wear a Judge shirt if you have one, if not, then a black long-sleeved button up would be your next best option. Complimenting this should be black pants or skirts, black shoes, black socks, and a black belt if you choose to wear one.

Compensation:

Each judge on staff will receive a booster box, lunch, and a Saturday badge for UBCON.

Additionally, the judge that shows the best performance (as determined by the Head Judge) will receive a $25 Dave & Adams gift card!
