Event Information

Grand Prix Copenhagen will be held on June 19-21, 2015.  The format is Modern.  Please read the below information carefully and click on the above link to apply.

Your application is for a minimum of Saturday and Sunday, although you may also apply for Friday if you wish. All applicants must be available to work until at least 20:00 on Sunday. 

There will be several shifts on Friday, if you are interested in working Friday please indicate your preference (Early: 10am start, Mid: 12pm start, Late: 3pm start)

You have a better chance of being accepted if you are an active L2+ in your community and if you speak Danish or Swedish.  You must speak sufficient English to operate in a tournament setting.  If you can speak other languages please indicate in your application, but this is by no means a requirement.


Please bring appropriate judging attire, including a black judge shirt and black trousers with belt. If you do not have a shirt, please let us know so one can be provided for you. 

Standby judges

If you're selected as a Standby judge, you will be expected to come and play the event for free. However, if attendance is higher than expected, you will be contacted on site to come and judge. This could happen at any given point during the weekend (Friday, Saturday or even Sunday). More information about the Standby Judge system will be provided if requested.

Other roles

We are looking for Judges who may be interested in working in one or more of the following roles throughout the weekend; Scorekeeping, Registration, Prize Wall, VIP. If you are interested in any of these please indicate that in your application, including any relevant experience (SK at events, working at your local store, etc.)



Compensation

Compensation depends on your level and the amount of days you work. Compensation is given in English product of the current set at that time (which will be Dragons of Tarkir).   

Compensation rates are as follows:

L1 = 1 Box, 1 Play Mat, $100 US (PayPal) or $130 CFB store credit per shift

L2 = 1 Box, 1 Play Mat, $275 US (PayPal) or $350 CFB store credit per shift

L3+ = 1 Box, 1 Play Mat, $450 US (PayPal) or $575 CFB store credit per shift

Paypal fees will be covered by the tournament organizer. 

This means that a L2 working Saturday and Sunday will get:

2 boxes, 2 playmats and $550 or $700 in CFB store credit. 
 

Hotel:

We have secured a discounted room block with the AC Bella Sky Copenhagen.  The hotel is on the premesis of the tournament site.  Rates are inclusive of Danish tax and are DKK 895/Night for Single Occupancy and DKK 995/Night for Double Occupany.  To book your reservation use the following link below:
