MagicCity Modern Masters Weekend

The Weekend

This weekend will have two seperate Competetive REL main events; we're looking for:

Saturday:

1 Foor Judge(L1+)

2 Standby Judges(L1+)

Sunday:

1 Head Judge (L2+ preferred)

1 Floor Judge(L1+)

2 Standby Judges(L1+)

There will also be a number of Regular REL Side events. Judges are expected to assist with these if needed.

The Events

Saturday will have a Competetive REL Modern Masters (2015 edition) Sealed Deck with a top 8 draft.

Sunday will have a Competetive REL Modern Constructed Main event with a top 8 playoff.

Both days will feature several different side events.

Expectations

Judges are expected to be familiar with the IPG however prior experience with competetive REL events is not a requriment.

Judges are expected to be onsite until the conclusion of their event for any days they are selected for.

Standby Judges are expected to be at the venue before the event starts, ready to judge if needed.

Applicants for the Head Judge position must provide the following information:

Competetive REL events you have worked on recently, whether or not you were the Head Judge of those events;

Judges you have worked with recently, and the nature of the work you did together? (E.g. Did you mentor the judge, were you mentered by the judge, did you work an event together? etc.)

Your long-term goals in the Judge Program.

Compensation

Judges working the event will recieve one box of a recent standard legal set or 500DKK store credit for the local LGS Fanatic for each day worked.

Standby judges will recieve a voucher worth 250DKK that can be spent towards any entry fee during the weekend, should you wish to use your voucher in another way, the TO will help you figure something out. Standby judges that are activated will not recieve this voucher, instead they will recieve the same compensation as other judges working the event.
