PPTQ PT#1 2016

Dark Sphere would like to solicit applications for the Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier on Sunday 14 June 2015. The format is Modern and the head judge is Thomas Ralph.

Judges would be expected to attend from 10:00am until the end of Swiss. Based on expected attendances it is likely that this will be seven rounds. The player meeting is at 11:00am so a very rough expected departure time is therefore 6:30pm. If the above timings would prove difficult for you, please mention this in your cover letter as we will try to accommodate you if feasible.

We are primarily looking for level 2 and higher judges but we may accept one experienced level 1 judge who is close to progressing. We also may require a small number of standby judges who will be granted complimentary entry to the event if not required for judging.

The compensation is 1 box of your choice of Khans block boosters. Drinks and snacks will be made available during the day. Lunch will also be covered.

Whilst the very last date for applications is 4th June, we would encourage anyone interested to apply as soon as possible as we reserve the right to accept and close applications earlier should we receive sufficient applications.

Standard requirements concerning judge appearance, apparel, etc. apply, i.e. judges will wear judge shirts (or plain black collared shirts if they do not own judge shirts), black trousers with belt and black socks or black skirt with plain black tights, and black shoes.
