SCG Summer Regional (Fresno)

Thank you for your interest in judging at SCG Summer Regional in Fresno, CA! 

Crazy Squirrel Game Store is proud to host the StarCityGames Summer Regional in Central California on August 1, 2015. This will be one of only a few regional events held across the United States on this date. Standby judges will receive free entry into the event if they are not activated. 

We will be looking for several floor judges and a few standy judges. Standby judges will have their activation numbers released privately. Some judges may be used to run side events after the beginning of round one. Vicente Davis from Merced, CA will be Head Judge for this event.

Judge call time is 9 AM and judges are expected to stay until the conclusion of Swiss rounds. If you must leave early, please indicate this in your application.

Judges are expected to have knowledge of and review the Infraction Procedures Guideline and Magic Tournament Rules before the start of the event. Judges must wear black judge shirt (black button up shirt is acceptable if judge shirt is not available), black pants, belt, and black shoes while on the floor. Judges should remove their judge shirt or cover their judge shirt while on breaks. 

Lunch will be provided by Crazy Squirrel Game Store for all judges activated at the event. 

Judges will receive compensation based on Level-

Level 2 judges receive 1.5 Comp Units per day. 

Level 1 judges receive 1 Comp Unit per day. 

Each Compensation Unit is available as either $75 cash or $100 store credit. 

All judges will also receive a judge version of the Summer Regional playmat. 

There is no room or travel sponsorship available for this event. 

Each judge is required to fill out tax information the day of the event.
