Thank you for your interest in events at Victory Comics, the largest gaming space inside the beltway! We are looking for a number of judges to make our events a success, so please, read on to determine how we can work together.

We are looking for three head judges for this event, one for each shift. The shifts are:

• Friday at 11:00 pm (Midnight prerelease)
• Saturday at 11:30 am (Noon and 6:00 prereleases)
• Sunday at 11:30 am (Noon and 6:00 prereleases)

Format

This event will be Modern format - swiss rounds with a cut to Top 8, as described in the MTR.

Compensation

Judges on staff will receive their choice of one booster box of any standard-legal in-print set or $135 in store credit per shift worked, plus lunch.

Expectations

Judges are expected to be on-site, in judge uniform, at the time listed above for the shift they will be working. If you are running late, please call the store so we can be prepared. Head judges are expected to stay until the event is concluded.

Judges are expected to be familiar with the JAR, MTR and Comp Rules, including any updates with the release of Magic Origins.

If you do not have a Magic Judge shirt, please wear a black long-sleeve dress shirt - we may have a shirt in your size available to borrow for the day.

Staffing for this event will be primarily level one judges.
