Beginning Phase

Thank you for your interest in Highlander Games' unique PPTQ, featuring Modern Masters 2015 Edition in both Sealed Deck and Booster Draft formats. The winner of this Limited event will qualify for the Regional PTQs, for the yet to-be-announced Pro Tour #1. I'm looking for a singular (1) floor judge for this event; there are no reserve judges required for this event. All applicants must be certified judges, confident in their rules and IPG knowledge. The venue will be split amongst two rooms, so any applicant must be able to operate with limited Head Judge interaction. Please also detail any/all Regular and Competitive REL experience, and your knowledge of the Modern Masters 2015 Edition format in your covert letter.

Upkeep Step

The compensation for this event will be one (1) booster box from the Khans of Tarkir block, or one half (½) of a booster box of Modern Masters 2015 Edition. Please specify which of these four options you would prefer in your application, although there is likely to be some flexibility on the day.

Precombat Main Phase

Judges are expected to be on-site from 10:30am with the main event starting at 12:30pm. You will be expected to stay until the end of the Quarters Finals. If you have any restrictions on how early or late you are able to arrive or stay, please state this in your application.

Postcombat Main Phase

There are testing opportunities for Level 1 at this event, but only by prior arrangement. If you would like to test for Level 1, or know someone who may be interested, contact me on Facebook or by email (fkfeth@gmail.com).

End Step

Good luck to all applicants. A meaningful cover letter that answers and acknowledges all of the issues and questions above will be the main method of determining the successful applicant. Applications for this event will close on Friday, the 19th of June (just over two weeks prior to the event). However, if a suitable application is made prior to this date, a judge may be chosen sooner. If you specifically need to be informed of your application status before this date, and not simply in order to force my hand to pick you before other applicants can apply, please mention this in your cover letter.
