Beginning Phase

Thank you for your interest in Minmax Games' Standard PPTQ. The winner of this Constructed event will qualify for the Regional PTQs, for the yet to-be-announced Pro Tour #2. I'm looking for a singular (1) standby judge for this event. All applicants must be certified judges, and confident in their rules and IPG knowledge. Please also detail any/all Competitive REL experience in your cover letter.

Upkeep Step

If you are needed to judge the event, the compensation will be half a booster (½) per player of Magic Origins if there are less than thirty players, or half a booster box (½) if there are thirty or more players. If you are not needed to judge the event, you will receive free entry instead.

Precombat Main Phase

Judges are expected to be on-site an hour before the main event (time TBC). You will be expected to stay until the end of the Quarters Finals. If you have any restrictions on how early or late you are able to arrive or stay, please state this in your application.

Postcombat Main Phase

There are testing opportunities for Level 1 at this event, but only by prior arrangement. If you would like to test for Level 1, or know someone who may be interested, contact me on Facebook or by email (fkfeth@gmail.com).

End Step

Good luck to all applicants. A meaningful cover letter that will be the main method of determining the successful applicant. Applications for this event are closed will close on Thursday, the 13th of August. However, if a suitable application is made prior to this date, a judge may be chosen sooner. If you specifically need to be informed of your application status before this date, and not simply in order to force my hand to pick you before other applicants can apply, please mention this in your cover letter.
