Delta H Con PPTQ #2

Gerard’s Gaming will be hosting a PPTQ in Houston, TX on August 29, 2015. We are looking for 2 floor judges and 2 standby judges. The stand-by judge will be activated at 70 players. If stand-by judge is not activated they will receive free entry to the PPTQ. Below, you'll find all the information you'll need to attend the event. EXPECTATIONS

Judges volunteering for this event are expected to prepare for each event by reviewing the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, and Infraction Procedure Guide, each of which can be found at the Magic Judges Document Center. Judges are also expected to behave in a professional manner at all times, as representatives of Gerard’s Gaming and the Magic Judge program. This includes arriving on time, and in appropriate attire.

Judges should arrive no later than 9:30 AM on the day of the event and are expected to stay until the conclusion of the Swiss rounds. If you must arrive later than 9:30 AM or may have to leave before the conclusion of the Swiss rounds (to catch a ride, for instance), please note that in your application.

The dress code for judges at this event is an official judge shirt (black collared shirt if you do not have one), black pants (dress pants are preferred; jeans are acceptable), a belt, and comfortable shoes (both preferably black). Judges should not be in uniform while off-duty, including during breaks and while trading.

TESTING

Testing opportunities are NOT available at this event.

Uncertified judges wishing to certify should contact Andrew, this could be an opportunity to get your feet wet!

COMPENSATION

Floor judge: 1 box of Magic Origins/  per day worked

Standby: 1 box if activated. per day worked

ALL JUDGES: 3 Day pass to Delta H CON
