Memphis Plays Legacy 8: The Return of the Invitational Qualifier

Details

We are looking for a floor judge for the next event in our Memphis Plays Legacy Series. This is a competitive event, and it is a Star City Games Invitational Qualifier. Preference will be given to L2 judges, however L1 judges are encouraged to apply. Competitive experience is a must. Please describe your competitive experience in your cover letter. Also feel free to mention any special traits or past experiences that you believe will assist you in performing your role. Questions may be emailed to jeftschl@ut.utm.edu 

The Head Judge and Judge Manager for this event will be Jeffrey Schlichter.

Expectations 

You will need to arrive at the venue approximately 1/2 hour before registration begins at 11am and are expected to stay until the conclusion of the swiss rounds. You will not need to provide any scorekeeping. You will need to wear a DCI Judge shirt. If you do not have one, a plain black shirt will be acceptable. You may wear jeans if you like. 

Compensation

-1 Booster Box of any in print set (This is a minimum. If attendence is deemed to be high, your compensation will increase)

-Lunch (specifics will be decided later, but we try to provide some quality on this.)

Standby

Some judges will be accepted as standby judges. Those judges will receive free entry into the main event, with a possibility of being asked to step up into the floor judge role if attendence is deemed to warrant it.
