Announcing the first (ever)

Regional Player-Judge Social Spectacular!

Hosted and Sponsored by Event Horizon Games

The main event, a standad format Super IQ, begins at 10:00 a.m. with bounty on judges who play. Other judges are invited to participate in a variety of side events and challenges throughout the day. After the main event has wound down (approximately 7:00 p.m.), we will relocate to a nearby restaurant for a judge dinner. Even if you cannot come for the event itself, we hope to see you at the dinner!

Expectations

• enthusiasm about interacting with players in a social setting

• communication with local player bases about the event and its goals

• participation in one of the following: bounty in the main event, various format gunslinging, 3v3 team draft, cube challenges, 8-man on-demand events, and more

• post-event feedback on the event and project goals

A Note from the Organizer

I recently joined the Player-Judge Social Project, which is a part of the Player Experience Sphere. The goal of the project is to promote increased closeness and understanding between the communities. We believe that to facilitate the best kind of community relationships, players need opportunities to interact with judges outside of rules enforcement. Recognizing the potential for community development and program enhancement, Event Horizon Games has graciously agreed to sponsor this social, which will be the first local event of its kind. -Erik Aliff

*Because this event is not a judge conference, there will be no judge foils. However, we will do our best to include some other small tokens of appreciation for the local judge community.
