SCG States at Zappcon

Thank you for your interest in judging at the SCG Northern California State Championships hosted by Crazy Squirrel Game Store on October 17-18 at the Zappcon convention in Fresno, CA. 

This will be two separate events with the Standard State Championship being held on Saturday,October 17 and the Modern State Championship being held on Sunday, October 18. There will be many side events as well that will require staffing.

We will be looking for four judges per day, two for the State Championships and two to run side events per day.

Standby judges will be activated if there is greater than expected attendance and will receive free entry into the event if not activated. 

Compensation for floor judges is as follows: 

L1- 1 CU/day worked

L2- 1.5 CU/day worked

L3- 2 CU/day worked

1 CU= $75 Cash or $100 Store Credit

Lunch will be provided for all judges on staff. There is no hotel sponsorship for this event. 

Each judge being compensated by check must fill out tax information in the form of a W-9 or W-8 for international. 

Judges are expected to arrive in appropriate attire with judge shirt (black button up shirt is acceptable), black pants, black shoes, and black belt to be worn while working. Knowledge of the IPG, MTR, and CR are strongly encouraged before these events.
