Event Information
Worlds Collide and Face to Face Games Toronto present a special event on the Sunday after the October 17th 5k MDSS - the Trios of Champions! Featuring 5k in prizes, this Trios Constructed event is sure to be a great time for players and judges alike.
Judges will be expected to be on site, ready to work at 9:00 AM to assist with setup, and will be expected to stay until at least the end of the Swiss rounds.
We're looking for judges of all levels, but L2+ judges and L1s with proven Competitive REL experience are preferred. Judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused. If you're not as experienced with those things, please apply as a volunteer.
All staff for this event will provided with lunch.
Judges staffed as volunteers will receive their choice of either $40 cash or $60 in store credit from Worlds Collide.
Judges staffed as full sponsorship will receive their choice of either $100 cash or $130 in store credit from Worlds Collide.
Please provide a brief letter outlining your recent experience judging at Competitive REL, as well as any other information that you feel is pertinent to your application. (Such as if you don't have a judge shirt.) Please name at least one L2+ to be used as a reference.
We are also looking for one standby judge. If you wish to apply to be a standby judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge. If there are 120+ players in the event, the standby judge will be activated to staff and will be compensated as a full sponsorship judge.
More information on the event will be available soon.
The application deadline is Friday October 9th, and staffing will be announced by the next day, Saturday October 10th.
Hope to see you all out!
