A HUGE gaming convention is coming to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada called the TCEG Con (Trading Card & Electronic Gaming Convention) on Oct 9-12, 2015.

The TCEGCon will be the very first convention of its kind
offered in Edmonton. It will celebrate / feature all things GAMING for 4 Fun Filled Days and attract upwards of 20,000-40,000
attendees over the long weekend!

So that's the Speel from the creator of TCEG-con. However, the Adventurer's guild is going to be hosting all magic events. We will be looking for multiple judges over multiple days. The final schedule will be as follows:

Friday: 5pm - 11pm  Oct. 9

2:00pm: On-demand events (2 judges)

5:00pm: Legacy Championship qualifie (COMP level) (3 judges, one L2)

6:00pm:  FNM draft

6:30pm:  modern & standard

(1 judge needed for FNM)

Saturday: 10am - 11pm Oct 10

10am: Sealed championship event (COMP level) (3 judges, one L2)

12pm: Vintage (2 judges)

1pm: On-demand events (2 judges)

5pm: Standard championship (COMP level) (3 judges, one L2)

Sunday: 10am - 11pm Oct 11

10am: PPTQ (COMP level) (4 judges, one L2)

1pm: On-demand events (2 judges)

5pm: Modern Championship (COMP level) (3 judges, one L2)

Monday: 10am - 5pm

10am: MM2015 draft Championship (3 judges, one L2)

12:30pm: On-demand events (2 judges)

(amount of judges will be subject to change, any/all standbyjudges will be appreciated)

There will also be on demand drafts, commander, standard, modern, two-headed giant, and team sealed events happening.

For those interested, this should be a great learning experience and opportunity to sharpen those judge skills. TCEG con is being advertised quite well, and with Battle for Zendikar being the big thing at the event, Attendance is now estimated at much higher. Additionally, compensation will be in BfZ/credit.

We will be looking for roughly 4-7 judges per day (plus myself). So get those applications in!

Compensation:

L1 at a 9/hour shift (including breaks) will receive a booster box of BfZ. Any additional hours will be credited to $10 store credit with the guild.

L2 will receive 54 packs of BfZ and $15 store credit.

Alternatively, if a full shift cannot be filled but you are interested in judging, 10 dollars store credit with the guild will be the comp (and MAYBE some BfZ).

Judges on Standby will receive a free entry into any main event, OR a free draft, once per day. If you are on standby and additional judges are needed, you will be expected to drop from your event immediately.
