Regional PTQ for Pro Tour #1 2016

On behalf of Guardian Games, I'm pleased to post a staff solicitation for the Regional Pro Tour Qualifier for the first Pro Tour of 2016.

This Modern event will qualify top competitors for Pro Tour #1 2016, scheduled for February 5-7, 2016 in Atlanta, GA.

This is a Competitive REL event. Projected attendance is 30-40, so I am looking for one floor judge. Compensation is $100 and lunch provided by Guardian Games.

Preference will be given to L1 judges who have met the requirements to test for L2 by the event date. Those requirements are posted at http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/judge-levels/ and summarized below:

• L1 in good standing
• Brief written recommendation from an L2+ judge
• Demonstrating of a working relationship with at least two stores/organizers
• Three reviews of other judges entered into Judge Center
• Judge 6+ reported events
• Judge 2+ "high-level" events prior to the RPTQ (the RPTQ counts as 1)
• A score of 70% or higher on the Level 2 Practice exam
