Illinois State Championships Weekend

Pastimes is prud to host the SCG and TCGplayer State Championships for Illinois! This is a two day event, with judge positions available for either day or both. The weekend is comprised of the following events:

October 17 - SCG Standard State Championship
October 18 - SCG Modern State Championship
October 18 - TCGplayer Standard State Championship

These events will all be swiss rounds with cut to Top 8. Expected player count is 65+ players, so plan for 7 rounds of Swiss, which means total judge shift could be about 10-11 hours long.

Positions Available each day:

Head Judge - Must be at least Level 2 judge. Head Judge will receive 1.5 boxes of BFZ or $150 store credit.

Scorekeeper - Scorekeeper must be proficient with WER. Scorekeeper will receive 1.5 boxes of BFZ or $150 store credit.

Floor Judge - We will need two floor judges each day to assist in rulings, deck checks, and general judging duties. Floor Judge will receive 1 box of BFZ or $100 store credit.

Standby - If event attendance grows beyond expected numbers, standby judges will be activated. In that case, duties and compensation would be the same as Floor Judges. Otherwise, standby judges will receive free entry into that day's event.

Lunch and snacks will be provided for all event staff.
