Nebraska's War 2015 - Garfield, Frazier, Gelon, Myrfors

il 5-6-7-8 Dicembre si svolgerà la terza edizione del Nebraska's War, uno dei più grandi tornei privati Europei. Potete trovare tutte le informazioni sull'evento qui: http://www.nebraskaswar.com/. Il torneo non sarà sanzionato.

Questo è il programma degli eventi che si svolgeranno durante i 4 giorni:
Sabato 5 Dicembre: Modern Main Event + Legacy Side Event
Domenica 6 Dicembre: Legacy Main Event + Old School Main Event + Tiny Leaders Side Event
Lunedì 7 Dicembre: Modern Main Event 2.0 + Vintage Side Event + Pauper Side Event
Martedì 8 Dicembre: Vintage Main Event + EDH Commander Main Event + Legacy Side Event 

Stò cercando indicativamente:
Sabato: 5 FJ + 2 Standby + 3 Volontari
Domenica: 7 FJ + 2 Standby + 3 Volontari
Lunedì: 5 FJ + 2 Standby + 2 Volontari
Martedì: 2 FJ + 2 Standby + 1 Volontario

Il compenso sarà differenziato per diversi livelli di Sponsorship, ed è, per giorno, il seguente:
Standby: Agli arbitri selezionati come Standby verrà richiesta la presenza all'evento, potranno giocare gratuitamente un Main Event e un Side Event a scelta durante la giornata, ed eventualmente verranno inclusi nello staff in caso di necessità come Volunteer (dovranno quindi essere reperibili a inizio giornata, e pronti ad arbitrare).
Volunteer: 15€ per rimborso cibo + 5 carte da far firmare a Garfield
Travel Sponsorship: 15€ per rimborso cibo + rimborso spese di viaggio (da specificare nell'application a quanto ammontano) + 5 carte da far firmare a Garfield
Room Sponsorship: 15€ per rimborso cibo + rimborso spese di viaggio (da specificare nell'application a quanto ammontano) + posto letto in camera tripla/quadrupla con gli altri arbitri dello staff nell'hotel della location, per la notte precedente o successiva (colazione inclusa) + 5 carte da far firmare a Garfield
Full Sponsorship: 65€ per rimborso cibo + rimborso spese di viaggio (da specificare nell'application a quanto ammontano) + posto letto in camera tripla/quadrupla con gli altri arbitri dello staff nell'hotel della location, per la notte precedente o successiva (colazione inclusa) + 5 carte da far firmare a Garfield

Potete applicare per una qualsiasi combinazione di giorni. Il rimborso spese di viaggio verrà assegnato una volta sola, con un tetto massimo di 75€. Specificate nell'application, tramite gli appositi selettori, quale tipi di Sponsorship siete disposti a ricevere. Full, Room e Travel sponsorship sono riservate a chi arbitra almeno 2 giorni. Se arbitrate 3 o 4 giorni avrete più possibilità di ricevere questo tipo di Sponsorship.

Tutti gli arbitri in staff avranno a disposizione per ogni giorno acqua a volontà e snack, direttamente in judge station. La struttura avrà un menu con prezzi scontati riservati agli arbitri in staff. Gli arbitri in Staff avranno un canale preferenziale per eventuali firme dai disegnatori (a parte Garfield che ha la limitazione sopra spiegata)

Per favore includete nell'application esperienze passate a REL Competitive, così come la conoscenza di eventuali lingue diverse dall'italiano, e a che livello. Una buona conoscenza dell'inglese sarà titolo preferenziale durante la selezione.

L'abbigliamento adeguato per il torneo è lo stesso di un GP o PPTQ, quindi: pantaloni neri, camicia arbitrale, cintura nera, scarpe nere. Le giornate saranno lunghe e faticose, aspettatevi di arrivare a fine giornata molto stanchi.

Lo staff verrà selezionato in base al livello, all'esperienza, alla posizione geografica e alla partecipazione attiva alla comunità. Durante il weekend sarà dato uno spazio particolare al mentoring, essendo questo uno dei pochi tornei in cui si può davvero fare un'utilissima esperienza. Sarà possibile testare per il L2, se interessati scrivetelo nell'application, spiegando a che punto siete con la checklist.

5-6-7-8 December it will be run the Third Edition of Nebraska's War, one of the biggest Private European Tournaments. You can find all the informations here: http://www.nebraskaswar.com/en/. The tournaments will be unsanctioned.

This is the program of the tournaments that will be done during the 4 days:

I'm looking for approximately:

Compensation will be different, following this levels of Sponsorship, and is, per day, this:
Standby: The Judges selected as Standby will be requested to be at the event. They could play for free one Main Event and one Side Event of your choice during the day, and if needed they will be included in the staff as Volunteers (At the beginning of the day they have to be available and ready to judge).
Volunteer: 15€ food compensation + 5 cards to be signed from Garfield
Travel Sponsorship: 15€ food compensation + 5 cards to be signed from Garfield + travel reimbursement (please speficy in the application how much you would need)
Room Sponsorship: 15€ food compensation + 5 cards to be signed from Garfield + travel reimbursement (please speficy in the application how much you would need) + bed in 3/4 room with the other Judges in staff in the Locations's hotel for the night before or after (Breakfast Included)
Full Sponsorship: 65€ food compensation + 5 cards to be signed from Garfield + travel reimbursement (please speficy in the application how much you would need) + bed in 3/4 room with the other Judges in staff in the Location's hotel for the night before or after (Breakfast Included)

You can apply for any combination of days. The travel reimbursement will be issued only one time, up to a maximum of 75€. Please specify in the application, with the selectors, which tipe of compensation you're available to receive. Full, Room and Travel sponsorship will be probably assigned to people that work more days.

All the judges on staff will have available, for every day, water and snacks for free, directly at the judge station. The location will have private discounted prices reserved to judges in staff. All judges in staff will have a preferential channel for signs from the Artists (except Garfield, that has the limitation explained in the Compensation field)

Please include in your cover letter previous experiences at Competitive REL, as well as the knowledge of foreign languages. It's not needed to talk italian, but it's absolutely needed to know English enough to work in an international environment. Knowledge of other European languages (such as German, French, Spanish, Czech) will be preferential titles for the selection.

The proper dress for the event is the same of a GP or PPTQ: black trousers, black Judge shirt, black belt, black shoes. Days will be long and tiring, expect to arrive at the end of the day very tired.

Staff will be selected based on level, experience, geographic position and active involvement in the community. During the weekend we'll give a particular space to mentoring, because this is one of the few tournaments where it can actually be possible to have a very useful experience.
