GPT#1 for Houston 2016 (12/12)

 Willpower Games is hosting a Standard Grand Prix Trial on December 12th at 1pm (12 noon sign ups) for GP Houston.

 L0's looking for Comp REL experience are welcome to apply and will likely be accepted.  No compensation will be provided for L0's.

 L1 testing will be available provided references are given in your cover letter.

 Expectations

 All judges selected for this event are expected to arrive at the venue 1 hour before the start of the event (arrive at noon; start time 1pm). Judges should be familiar with common rules and card interactions in Standard, as well as the most recent versions of the Magic Tournament Rules and the Infraction Procedure Guide.

 All judges are expected to be available until the conclusion of the swiss rounds. If you are able to stay for part of top 8, or are unable to meet these expectations, please note this in your application.

 The Magic Judge uniform consists of black pants with a black belt, black shoes, and a Magic Judge shirt or a plain black button-down or dress shirt. Also part of your uniform: a red pen, a blue or black pen, a notebook, some device capable of telling time, and a name badge, if you own one.

 Staffing

 If required, the standby judge will be activated around 25-30 players and will receive free entry into the event if not activated.

 Compensation

 All activated Judges at this event will receive 1 booster box plus $50 store credit.  Lunch or Dinner will be provided.

 Judge Candidates (L0) will not receive compensation for this event but it will satisfy one of your two events required for L1 testing.
